Year 13 acheive great results!

Congratulations Rivers Academy Year 13!

A Level and BTEC results day Thursday 17th August 2017

Rivers Academy Post 16 students are celebrating their achievements with parents and staff today as they collect excellent A Level and BTEC results.  With over 40% of results being awarded top grades, there is so much to celebrate!  This celebration of impressive results at both A Level and BTEC has become an annual event for Rivers Academy students and staff as we go from strength to strength.

Staff at Rivers Academy have worked steadfastly with students over the last seven years to provide them with such strong academic preparation for their next steps in life, whether this be to top universities, apprenticeships or their first steps into skilled careers.

Rivers students leave the Academy not just with excellent academic results but also having developed into confident leaders and role models. They are a highly employable group of students, boosted by the wide ranging capabilities that they have developed through the unique Aspirations Employability Portfolio.  The AEP offers every student the opportunity to develop the skills required in today’s highly competitive world of work through a diet of external visits, links with entrepreneurs and employers, real life consultancy projects and exceptional guest speakers.

We are all very proud of them and wish them the very best as they head to the next stage of their lives.

Thanks go to all staff at Rivers Academy for their dedication in providing expert teaching and support for each student throughout their education at Rivers Academy.  This has ensured that students achieve such strong results and are able to access exciting opportunities in their futures.

We wish all students the very best for their next steps and look forward to hearing about their future successes.
